About Emily
I'm Emily, and I am super passionate about all things history! I love to teach, learn, and help others to achieve their goals. I am a huge fan of Ancient Roman and Greek history, and I love to read all about Classical Civilisations.
Everyone is capable of learning something new and improving their confidence through perseverance. I can help you to feel more confident in your abilities and support you with whatever task is at hand. I have been tutoring on/off for the last 7 years, throughout my time at School and University. I have experience working in schools as an assistant teacher, and I have been able to help students achieve great results and improvement in their grades.

I like to take a hands-on approach to lessons and really get to know how you work, and what helps you to understand the material. Lessons can vary in length, depending on what suits - from 20-minute brainstorming sessions to help with essay plans, to hour-long lessons on Ancient History, or group sessions on the Russian Revolution. Whatever is being studied for your curriculum.
I have 8 years of Latin language experience, 7 years of Classical Studies, Ancient History, and Archaeology, as well as two University degrees. That being said, I have experience tutoring people ages 7 to early 20s - it doesn't matter what age you are, just about what you want to learn!
