About Sean
Hello! My name is Sean and I am here to help. I know some scientific subjects may seem incredibly difficult to understand, but with a little background information, they make perfect sense. In my experience, most classes do a pretty poor job of teaching this, if they attempt to at all. I will work with you to identify what information you may not yet have been taught in one subject that is keeping you from understanding something in another. I began learning this way and graduated with a 3.8 GPA with honors while using this approach to tutor my classmates.

I can teach you the method I've used to get A's in courses about the natural sciences (yes, even organic chemistry!). I believe the key to really understanding these topics is to focus on how they connect and overlap to form a complete picture. No natural science subject can stand on its own; they all support and build on each other. Difficulties in these courses are often due to not having a solid enough foundational knowledge in other fields. For example, some things I was taught in chemistry never made sense to me until I took physics later on. Once I began thinking of each class as a different piece of the same puzzle, not as separate subjects, things became much easier and much more satisfying to understand.
