About Brandon
I am a Mining and Mineral Engineering graduate student at Michigan Technological University with straight As. Developed a strong passion for STEM education from childhood after I won a national science exhibition at grade 7. I graduated second in my undergraduate class on a merit-based full scholarship and have experience mentoring students through SME. My engineering background, problem-solving skills, and patient teaching approach enable me to simplify complex STEM concepts. I am committed to helping students build confidence, improve academic performance, and develop a genuine interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. I teach students who are preparing for college pursuing a STEM degree, high school students in STEM classes, college students who want a boost in these classes (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics).
I use online platforms like Zoom and Microsoft for classes, but if location permits, I am available for face-to-face classes.
Plan: We go through your own personal syllabus either from college or high school, and look into your strengths and weaknesses, then we move forward from there. Sometimes students require their own specific topics, and for that reason, there is an element of flexibility when taking my classes.
