About Katie

I have experience tutoring both one-on-one and large groups. I’ve tutored calculus, discrete math, Intro to abstract math, and have experience creating lesson plans. I have experience teaching outside of the academic world as a sergeant in the national guard, where I place a high importance on hands-on training. This applies to math too! Practice makes perfect.

About the lesson

I have a patient teaching style that focuses on building intuition behind the math. No question is a dumb question! My favorite subjects to teach are algebra, calculus, probability, and intro to abstract math, but feel free to reach out for any math subject.

I cannot recommend Katie as a math tutor highly enough! Her ability to break down complex concepts into easily understandable pieces has transformed my understanding and confidence in mathematics. Each session is engaging and tailored to my specific needs, making learning both effective and enjoyable. She utilizes a variety of teaching methods, ensuring that I grasp the material thoroughly. Thanks to her patience and encouragement and I've seen remarkable improvement in my grades! If you're looking for a dedicated and skilled tutor, look no further!
