About Parker
I am a dedicated high school teacher and pastor with a strong background in helping students understand challenging material in a clear and practical way. I have experience working with a wide range of learners, including those who need extra support, and I take pride in creating a patient, encouraging, and structured learning environment.
My professional experience includes teaching subjects such as chemistry, physical science, biology, U.S. history, and government, along with developing lesson plans and tracking student progress. I am committed to helping students not only improve their grades but also build confidence and real understanding.
As a tutor, I am reliable, well-prepared, and focused on each student’s success. I communicate clearly, adapt to different learning styles, and maintain a professional and respectful approach in every session. My goal is to help students feel confident, supported, and capable of achieving their academic goals.

My approach as a tutor is to make complex ideas simple, practical, and engaging. I meet students where they are, break concepts down step-by-step, and build confidence through guided practice. I focus on helping students understand the “why,” not just memorize the “how.”
Teaching Method & Techniques:
I use clear explanations, visuals, and real-life examples, followed by guided and independent practice. I regularly check for understanding and adjust based on the student’s needs. I keep lessons structured but flexible so students stay engaged and make steady progress.
Typical Lesson Plan:
Warm-up or quick review
Teaching a new concept with examples
Guided practice together
Independent practice with support
Recap and understanding check
What Sets Me Apart:
As both a teacher and pastor, I communicate clearly, stay patient, and adapt to different learning styles. I specialize in helping students who struggle or need concepts broken down in a simple, understandable way.
Who My Lessons Are For:
I work mainly with middle and high school students, especially those who need extra support. I offer tutoring in chemistry, physical science, biology, U.S. history, government, and Christian theology/Bible study.
