I'm a performing and teaching professional actively in San Diego County and more. I've studied music education with cutting-edge professionals in the field. Further, I am a Grammy-nominated musician who has performed across 10+ states. I was a university honors graduate which means I never got less than an A in my entire degree.

I take a student-centered approach that lets them dictate part of the lesson all their own. Learning music is a process that's different for everybody and I work to build up a practice habit that encourages retention. We will start our lessons off with a conversation to see if there are any goals the student has. Then, we will warm up with a focus on one aspect of sound that will help them with their goal. It's also important to become a well-rounded musician with good ear training, so we will begin that early on by trying to play simple songs or pop songs by ear as a brain training technique! I teach adults - 6-year-olds on all instruments. Piano and ukulele I can teach beginners and intermediate players. Saxophone and music theory I can teach through college! Lessons should be fun and so should playing music, so let's work but have fun!
