About Brianna
Recent grad as a BM piano major from Cal State Northridge. I have 5 years experience teaching students from all ages ranging from 7-18 years old with a few adult students. I also have a credential from the Piano Guild Auditions - High School Diploma in Social Music (2016). I also teach beginner to intermediate music theory as it helps the student understand the music.

I teach beginner to intermediate students both in person where I am based in Los Angeles, and on Zoom. My teaching philosophy incorporates the methods from several method books such as Faber and Alfred. In addition, I also coach students for their annual certificate of merit exams if they are enrolled for the specific level. I encourage students to listen and develop musical awareness ; by doing this they can use their imagination to make up a story that uses the music they are learning to enhance the memory. Music is a lifelong learning process and I am very enthusiastic to help students read and understand music so that they can enjoy music in the long run.
