About Thomas
Growing up, math has always been that one subject that just clicked. I soon realized that it wasn't the same for everyone, some would struggle while some would excel. Learning from those experiences, I am well aware that math can make a person anxious and nervous.
Helping classmates with assignments, juniors with doubts and also some private tutoring throughout college and later years of school showed me that I really enjoy that moment when the student's face lights up after understanding a concept. That's what pushes me to teach, to spread the wonder of math and understand the unique challenges by each student so that I can help mentor them in the way that would fit them best.

Each student learns differently. I teach by asking instead of telling. The goal of the classes would be to make the subject more interesting by using the student's own curiosity by asking leading questions. An interesting subject is one well learnt.
A class will usually start with a recap of knowledge, followed by some questions to understand the pain points, especially in a subject like Maths. Following that, the student is given a chance to problem solve on their own and learn independently.
