About Margaret
I am a PhD student studying Engineering and Science Education and am invested in making mathematics more accessible to students who don't think they're good at math. I have taught over 300 students throughout my teaching career from Middle School Engineering to High School Calculus. I love hands-on, manipulative examples and am hoping to capture that during tutoring sessions as well. Students do better when they're exploring concepts in a different way!

I have a Masters in Math Education and am a certified 8th-12th grade math teacher in Massachusetts. I have four years of high school teaching experience where I specialized in Integrated Math II, Integrated Math III, Precalculus, and Calculus. I am incredibly charismatic and believe everyone has the potential to be successful in math class. We'll base our lessons on what YOU need. If you need homework help, we'll go over it. If you're still struggling with examples from class, we'll walk through it. I am here to help YOU!
