About Keiry
I received my Bachelor’s in Biology and am currently receiving my Master’s in Biomedicine. I have a medical assistant certification; however, school is the biggest priority, and from where I stand, teaching is the foundation of future successors. I have experience in doing STEM activities for afterschool elementary and middle schoolers as it was a part-time job during my undergrad. After graduating college, I was a science teacher for a small private school in Norfolk, and teaching has been something that has always stayed with me. I have a toddler and a husband that always have my back throughout school, and now I want to have the backs of students who are struggling.

I was a middle and high school science teacher. I’ve always liked making learning fun, exciting and overall enjoyable. I enjoy spreading my love of science to kids who might struggle on the subject, furthermore, teaching is about being able to spread what you know to those who struggle in understanding it. I use a mixture of books, experiments and hands on learning. I also have the capability of teaching in different styles that best match my students!
