About Carlos
I am a graduate student at IUPUI and I am getting my Master's degree in chemistry. I received my BS in Chemistry from Purdue University in Hammond. As a graduate student at IUPUI, I serve as a TA for undergraduate chemistry labs. I also have experience as an online tutor for chemistry.

The majority of my teaching and tutoring experience is in undergraduate-level chemistry subjects, mainly general chemistry. However, I have helped students with courses like biochemistry and organic chemistry as well. I believe that practice makes perfect, as cliche as it sounds. Studying chemistry is not much different than say, throwing a baseball. Practice problems are good practice and reinforce concepts learned in class. That being said, many students are lacking knowledge in the foundational concepts of chemistry, which will only make a course more difficult as you go along.
