About Betzy
I have a degree in education (2012) and am a violinist, so I combine my two passions in my teaching. In Venezuela, I was part of the System of Youth and Children’s Orchestras starting at age 6, first as a student and later as a teacher, which allowed me to help train many orchestras and young musicians.
In 2014, I traveled to Chile to play with the Tarapacá Regional Orchestra as a violinist and teacher. I had the opportunity to perform audience-engagement concerts throughout the region, and we also formed an orchestra of children from municipal schools. I also worked at the Mozart Academy in Iquique as a violin teacher. Currently, I am dedicated to teaching music to children.
My experience in music education is quite extensive, so I have helped train many musicians, achieving excellent results; those musicians are now members of musical groups and orchestras.

The classes are designed for children, teenagers, and adults who wish to learn the wonderful art of music, and are tailored to each student’s individual goals in a patient and respectful manner.
Classes last 60 minutes.
No prior experience is required to start, as we begin from scratch with a simple method that allows students to play basic pieces from the very first lesson. If a student has prior experience, we can work toward a recital or exam.
Classes include:
-Violin
-Music theory
-Solfège
-Ear training
In addition, each year I organize one or two recitals with all my students to showcase their progress throughout the year.
Lessons can be in-person at my home (Adelaide), at the student’s home, or online.
