About Emily
Hi! I’m Emily, a passionate biology educator with a strong background in both research and teaching. I have a bachelor’s degree in Biology with a concentration in marine biology and am currently pursuing a master’s degree in science education. Alongside my studies, I work as a graduate teaching assistant at the college level, helping students develop a deeper understanding of scientific concepts through hands-on learning. My experience extends beyond the classroom—I’ve conducted research in both field and laboratory settings and have also worked as a scorer for the AP Biology exam. This combination of teaching and real-world experience allows me to break down complex topics in a way that is engaging, practical, and easy to understand. I believe that every student has the potential to succeed in science with the right support.
