About Isaac

I achieved a high level of proficiency in Mandarin and spent two different stints living in China. I worked as an interpreter to Chinese-speaking tourists in Alaska. I understand and empathize with the challenges of learning Mandarin as someone who comes with no background in the language or culture.

About the lesson

I am an enthusiastic and caring teacher. I will help support your Mandarin language learning experience as someone who has gone from zero knowledge to near fluency. I teach in traditional characters. I have lived in and traveled around China.
