About Evie
My name is Evie McCullough and I am a 31-year-old Irish woman, currently switching to a career in post-primary teaching after working in communications / research / not-for-profit for the majority of my twenties.
Prior to commencing my Professional Master's in Education (PME) at Trinity College Dublin, of which I have just completed Year 1, I worked at a social impact communications agency in Sydney, Australia, the Institute of International and European Affairs in Dublin and the Economic and Social Research Institute also based in Dublin. I hold a BA in History and Political Science from Trinity College Dublin as well as a Master of Studies in Modern History from the University of Oxford.

As a tutor, I take a socio-constructivist approach to my practice in that I focus on collaboration and creating meaningful 1:1 connections as the avenue through which students and teacher can make sense of the humanities. I also dedicate a portion of every session to skills development - be that written or verbal communication, time management, organisation skills, presentation skills or project management.
My typical lesson length is 50 minutes and I currently offer the following subjects / levels:
