About Oscar
I am 23 years old and I have shown my Art internationally in Auckland and Australia. I trained as a sculptor but have found a passion for writing and teaching while studying. I am eager to evoke confidence in those wanting to better understand the Arts and English. I consider myself to be very open and patient and willing to explore every individual pupil's needs and interests. I am an advocate for positive reinforcement and like to make sure there are open discussions about the themes we are exploring as I want to keep the pupils actively engaged in the lesson.

My approach to teaching is generally quite open and goal orientated. I will start with some simple tasks to gauge the persons ability and what we want to improve on and then set some goals. I like to explore what teaching methods might work best for the individual person (are you a listener? do you prefer to learn with visual aids or practical lessons?)
My sessions will generally span from 1-2 hours.
For those wondering, I have experience tutoring uni alumni with writing tips but am eager to engage with those struggling at all levels! From intermediate to Uni and beyond!
