About Terri
I am a passionate advocate for youth and the development of our future, which is dependent upon how well we educate and care for our youth of today. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in interdisciplinary studies with a focus in Birth to kindergarten education, from Winston Salem State University. I find joy in all things in nature and the thrills of exploring.

I teach with a kinesthetic and visual approach. With over seven years of experience in childcare, tutoring, and mentorship, I find that most children learn by doing. I enjoy learning about the students I am teaching to build a connection to foster an engaging and fun learning experience. A typical lesson will involve students speaking, writing, listening, and a small portion of physical activity that caters to each individual. Lessons are geared to support students ages 4-10.
