About Genevieve
I have been singing and performing since the age of seven. I was privately trained by the choral master of the Manila Concert Choir as well as the "Auntie Mame of Heavy Metal," Elizabeth Sabine. Performed with both choirs and solo singing, I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Jazz Vocal Performance from Columbia College Chicago in 2006.

We start with taking care of the body: relaxing, stretching and body mapping. We will vocalize through the scales. Then we will discuss a piece of music either from the student or brought by the tutor. Working through the measures, we will discuss the meaning of the piece and emphasize the storytelling aspect of vocal delivery.
