About Alice
With several years of experience tutoring students from middle school through high school, I offer a clear, reliable, and results-oriented approach to learning. I specialize in math up to Algebra 1, English language skills, and SAT/ACT Reading and Writing preparation. My sessions are structured yet adaptable, designed to meet each student’s individual needs while building their confidence and independence. I take a clear, structured, and student-centered approach to tutoring, adapting each session to the learner’s needs and goals. Whether I’m helping a middle schooler build confidence in math and writing, or preparing a high schooler for the SAT or ACT, I focus on breaking down complex concepts, encouraging critical thinking, and guiding students to work independently. My sessions typically begin with a check-in and review, followed by focused instruction and active practice. I’ve worked with students from Grades 6–12, and what sets me apart is my ability to explain things in a way that truly “clicks,” while creating a calm, supportive space for growth.
