Having been born to an English speaking family, Sophia has achieved fluency in Spanish by working hard to learn it from those who are trained to teach it. This gives her an advantage that a lot of native speakers don’t have as it was learned from their families as a first language. Additionally, Sophia is incredibly empathetic which gives her the ability to understand your specific needs and cater her teaching strategies to that.

I met Sophia in a Spanish Linguistics class. We got super close during a study abroad to Spain. When we would go to places together in Spain, she would speak to the locals with such ease and fluidity. She is so knowledgeable when it comes to Spanish because she knows when and how to ask questions. She has helped me improve my Spanish because she has pushed me to practice and try my hardest at it.
