Graduated double bass/electric bass player offers lessons of double bass, electric bass, harmony, theory, in Brussels and via Skype

J’ai commencé les cours avec Francesco il y a deux mois avec l’objectif de pouvoir accompagné une groupe de jazz en partant de zéro. Je n’aurais jamais pensé prendre du plaisir aussi vite. C’est grâce à Francesco qui a une approche très progressive et sensoriel travaillant sur la technique, la lecture, l’écoute, le ressenti . Une méthode qui me correspond parfaitement et qui m’a convaincu qu’à 60 ans il n’est pas trop tard pour jouer un jour dans un jazz band.

Francesco is a superprof because:
> he can motivate me, even though most courses are via videolink
> he gives recommendations and suggestions rather than being dogmatic about how certain things should be done, how the hand should be held etc
> he asks me what I want to play and then adapts it to what I can achieve. And he is diplomatic about the too ambitious suggestions
> he weaves music theory into the course in a way that it is easy to take it in
