About Lucia
My name is Lucia and I am an Art History graduate. To me, being a tutor means working with your student to realise how to overcome any insecurities they have around a subject. I want you to feel confident about passing an exam with flying colours! But I especially want to make it fun and exciting for you. I have a long history of tutoring and I have only recently finished my academic journey so I know the current syllabuses and processes very well. I am a severe marker and strong essay-writer so I am happy to help you eloquently communicate your ideas on paper if that is something you struggle with. I am a fun and bubbly teacher who wants to provide an enjoyable experience for all my students. A lot of schoolwork is about passing exams so we can definitely prioritise that. I want to build on what you already know and make the subject exciting and easy for you. It's important to discuss what you find challenging in a subject and mainly focus on that. I am a qualified English language teacher (TEFL) and have an extensive experience in tutoring younger students at school. I have graduated with a First from university and a high first in my dissertation. I can tutor GCSE and A-level students as well as art history at university level. I am happy to offer 40 mins to 1 hour lessons on any week day or weekend. I hope you will consider me!
