I graduated from Columbia University in New York in Comparative Literature (English, French, Spanish, Mandarin were languages studied) and I love to tutor language and writing. I think tutoring is a wonderful way of getting to know people while growing and sharing knowledge and I truly care, not just to help you with academic material or your personal learning goals, but to know you as a person.

I truly try to understand where you are at linguistically and adapt to meet your needs and I believe that each student is unique. although I am happy to help with homework, lessons focus on exercises, developing conversation, and expression. I have a compendious series of interests and will also refer you to resources and language learning tips as to how to bring language into your life on a daily level (for example, films, books of interest). I can teach French up to level C1 on CEFR framework.
