About Lizbeth

I am bilingual (Spanish/English), have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with a minor in Education from Florida State University, and have three years of tutoring experience. I have tutored High School students, College students, and University Students in mathematics and Spanish. I also love music and have fun working on math with students (:

About the lesson

We can work together on whatever you feel you need help with! We can work through your homework with example problems, or look through an old exam. I can tutor High School math, help you prepare for the SAT, College Algebra, Precalculus Algebra, Trigonometry, Calculus One, Calculus Two, and any level of Spanish. I understand feeling frustrated with math, so I would love to help alleviate some of that frustration. (:

I worked with Liz as a tutor at TCC (now TSC). She’s very knowledgeable in mathematics and also incredibly friendly, patient, and approachable. She explains complex topics in a clear and accessible way, adapting her teaching style to students’ needs and pace.

What stands out most is her genuine passion for helping students succeed. Every session is productive and encouraging, and helps students become more confident and better prepared.

I highly recommend Liz to anyone looking for a supportive and intelligent tutor who cares about her students and has years of experience (as well as CRLA certification).
