About Mai

I am a dedicated tutor with a strong background in math and science, earning top grades in Calculus, Differential Equations, and Organic Chemistry. With experience tutoring Precalculus and Calculus, I simplify complex concepts and tailor lessons to help students succeed with confidence.

About the lesson

With experience tutoring Precalculus, Calculus I, and Calculus II, I’m here to make complex concepts easier to understand. -My Teaching Approach: I believe in a clear, step-by-step teaching style that breaks down challenging topics into simple, digestible parts. I encourage interactive learning, where you ask questions, solve problems actively, and build confidence through practice. I adapt my teaching to match your learning style—whether that’s visual, hands-on, or conceptual. -Typical Lesson Plan: +Review – Go over previous material and clarify any doubts. +Concept Introduction – Introduce new concepts with real-life applications. +Practice Problems – Work through examples together, then let you try on your own. +Problem-Solving Strategies – Teach problem-solving techniques and shortcuts. +Recap & Q&A – Summarize key points and address any remaining questions. -What Sets Me Apart: +I simplify complex ideas and make learning engaging. +I personalize lessons based on your needs and pace. +I emphasize understanding, not just memorization, to build strong problem-solving skills. -Who My Lessons Are For: My lessons are designed for high school and college students taking Precalculus, Calculus I & II, and related math and science courses. Whether you're struggling with a topic, preparing for exams, or looking to strengthen your skills, I’m here to help! Looking forward to learning with you!
