About Pedro
Since 2015 I have been specializing in how to treat the human body in a holistic/complete way. My career began in a Chinese clinic where I had direct contact and learned the traditional Chinese method (Tui Na) in practice.
In addition to my qualification as a teacher of the Alexander Technique, I also have experience and qualifications in Remedial Massage, Myotherapy (Myotherapy) and Yoga.
I graduated from the School of FM Alexander Studies in Melbourne, Australia (2015#2017), directed by David Moore and Jenny Thirtle. During my training, I had the opportunity to learn from renowned teachers like Caren Bayer, Cathy Madden, and other teachers from England, USA and Australia.
My work includes a particular approach to dealing with muscle problems, working on body awareness with the support of manual therapy.
My most recent degree was as a Yoga Instructor (200h YTT) at Rishkul Yogashala in Rishikesh - India (2019). This course helped me to understand about the benefits of Yoga, allowing me to elaborate a specific sequence for each of my students, facilitating the process of rehabilitation and body alignment. At the moment I am still studying the Iyengar yoga method.
My professional philosophy is based on being complete - holistic, treating each student in a subtle way with a focus on facilitating the body's natural ability to self-heal. Clinical assessment, prevention methods, postural correction and correction exercises are essential for the student to receive a personalized class.

Hatha Yoga is one of the most traditional methods in the practice of Yoga, bringing a variety of techniques that include diet, purification processes (Satkarma), breathing exercises (Pranayama), body postures (Asanas) and Meditation.
The Alexander Technique with the practice of Hatha Yoga facilitates the process of gaining an intimate knowledge of the body and its bioenergies, allowing us to refine the mind and body. With a positive and judgment-free mental attitude we have the opportunity to be present in the three phases of an Asana: entry, permanence and exit. The Alexander Technique helps us to re-educate our bodily and mental patterns, using the body as an instrument to access areas of our subconscious.
Through the correct postural alignment we improve our relationship with our body, allowing the mind, emotions and senses calm down leaving us with our true essence.
The practice of Hatha Yoga provides us with a state of relaxation and the necessary conditions for the transfiguration of the body to happen.
