About Afonso
I am a very calm person and I transmit this feeling to those I teach. I want to be a pilot, but there's still a ways to go. One of the requirements to be a pilot is an excellent level of English and that encouraged me to get the best English I could.
I have always had very dynamic English teachers and I hope to be able to transmit this benefit to those I teach, with great adaptability to each individual.

Hi, my name is Afonso, and I have been practicing English for as long as I can remember, I can speak fluently with a very minimized accent. I also have an Oxford CAE C2 certificate.
My style of teaching English is not based on boring material but on internalizing the structure of the language, this way students are not limited to translating what they want to say from Portuguese into English but they are thinking in English naturally.
I think this style is well suited for high school or higher education students who want to reach that final level of fluency, where you can speak without a conscious effort.
