Hi! I’m Daigo, a native Japanese speaker from Japan. I currently live in Australia and enjoy connecting with people from different cultures. I’m friendly, patient, and easy to talk to. I especially enjoy helping beginners feel comfortable speaking Japanese. Outside of teaching, I like staying active, traveling, and learning new languages myself. I believe learning a language should be enjoyable and stress-free.

Teaching approach & methodology
My lessons are friendly, practical, and focused on real-life Japanese.
I mainly use conversation-based teaching, combined with simple explanations in English.
For beginners, I start with pronunciation, basic grammar, and useful phrases, and gradually build confidence through repetition and speaking practice.
I adjust each lesson to the student’s goals, pace, and interests.
Lesson structure & length
A typical lesson is 60 minutes.
Each class usually includes:
• Warm-up conversation
• Introduction of new words or grammar
• Speaking practice using real-life situations
• Review and feedback
Shorter or longer lessons can be arranged if needed.
Qualifications & experience
I am a native Japanese speaker from Japan.
While I do not hold a formal teaching certificate, I have experience living abroad and communicating with non-native English speakers.
I understand the difficulties learners face and explain Japanese in a clear and simple way, especially for beginners.
