About Joana
My name is Joana Teixeira, I am 23 years old and I am from Guimarães, Portugal. I moved to London to study music in English higher education when I was 18 years old, specializing in singing. I acquired my bachelor's degree in June 2020, and my master's degree in September 2021.
I have been singing since I was 12 years old, but I only started studying professionally when I was 16 years old. With the conclusion of my course, I also qualified in music theory and in May 2020, I started studying electric bass by myself. I also have some knowledge of piano, having studied the instrument for 3 years (2013-2016).

As a music teacher, I feel my obligation is to inspire students through music. Whether it's an extracurricular activity or a job aspiration, I believe that learning music is incredibly important to school development and commitment.
