About Joy
My name is Joy Wurtz, 27 years old and an independent, graduated (child) psychologist. Currently I work as an independent child coach. I focus on coaching children at school in subjects such as arithmetic, spelling and reading. The school counseling is intended for children of primary school age and can focus on:
- Spelling
- Vocabulary
- Technical reading
- Reading comprehension
I gained my knowledge and experience in my years working as a child psychologist, guiding children with dyslexia and dyscalculia.

My way of teaching is to practice with the material in a step-by-step manner. I think it is very important not only to offer professional guidance, but also to pay attention to any uncertainty.
Methods I use include World in Numbers, Word Problems, or AVI reading. If a different method is used at your child's school, I will of course connect to this.
