About Nikki
I have spent my entire life as a student, and a teacher is a student in their own rights. I believe that if I cannot learn as much from my students as I teach them then I am not truly teaching. I earned my degree and educational certification because I wanted to do better than the teachers who did not care for my success or happiness, when I was a student, and inspire my students to grow beyond the expectations of the education system. I care for not only my students education but for their happiness and mental well-being.

I know that analyzing literature and writing can be a deeply confusing process and I like to break it down into simple and relatable pieces. My lessons usually are structured into these main parts: The main objective, the guided practice, independent practice, review, and independent study. My lessons are for grade levels 6- 12, and college student looking for assistance and guidance. I am familiar with the expectations and pressures put on students and want to make sure that everyone can succeed despite them.
