About Renata
Currently, I am attending the 5th semester of the Literature course with emphasis in Portuguese and English and I am always looking to study and deepen my knowledge in languages, production of texts and literature, adding knowledge to my innate passion for writing, reading and translation . I am self-taught, I have learned English without courses, only with the help of books, websites and videos, as well as using entertainment media (music, movies and series) to increase my vocabulary. I have been teaching English for a year to elementary and middle school students, and I'm loving this experience! :)

I have learned English by facing the language. Texts, audios, TV shows and movies without subtitles... All of this made me internalize grammatical rules of the language. It was a very quick and fun way of learning, since the rules were important, but they were in the background. So I direct my classes by reading texts, listening to songs, interpreting dialogues ... And from that, we observe and learn the grammatical part. All this so that your English does not become something dull and "decorated". We will do what we can to contextualize your learning in your daily life. Depending on the demand of each student, I construct texts and classes personalized for each one. If your focus is on traveling, I will use vocabulary for that segment. If you study law, I will produce texts that have vocabulary from your academic area, if that is what you are looking for. I'm here to show you a new way to learn English. You will love it :)
