About Ygor
My classes are always based on a bibliography * and the creation of exercises that suit the student. I always focus on uncomplicating ** matters and I try to transform the densest and most complicated into something simpler. But, of course, without losing substance. * The books I use to plan my classes are from renowned authors, such as: Nelson Faria, Igor Stravinsky, Maria Luísa de Mattos, Flo Menezes, Wisnik; as well as artists from Pernambuco with the clout of Israel Silva and Climério de Oliveira Santos for example. ** Although I read a lot to prepare the lesson, the content was passed on in a simple way!

I started to study the guitar at the age of 11, but only at the age of 14 I started to study more deeply. Before joining Federal, I participated in recitals at Ifpe, at ASCES college; I accompanied the singer Thalita Firmino in shows for the agreste; I did some shows with my band, Ilusão Dual, at Primavera Folk Festival and in private concert halls and released an EP with it. After that, I entered in the year 2017 in Music Bacharelado-UFPE and in Composition and Arrangement at the Conservatório Pernambucano de Música.
