About Jai
I graduated in 2024 with a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science from a university in London. I am currently studying Medicine and will soon be starting my third year.
I have always had a passion for reading and writing, which has strengthened my communication skills and my love of the English language. Alongside my studies, I am currently working on publishing my research thesis, which has further developed my academic writing and critical thinking skills.
As a tutor, I aim to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and making mistakes. I believe that every student learns differently, so I tailor my lessons to each individual's goals, learning style, and pace. My teaching approach is interactive, supportive, and focused on building confidence. My lessons are student-centred and designed to develop all key English language skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. A standard lesson lasts 60 minutes, although shorter (30–45 minutes) or longer (90 minutes) sessions can be arranged depending on the student's needs and preferences. I have experience helping students improve their English for school, exams, work, travel, and everyday communication. I focus on creating a positive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, as this is an essential part of the learning process.
My lessons are suitable for:

University students looking to improve their academic English.
Adults wanting to develop conversational English or workplace communication skills. Students preparing for English proficiency exams or interviews.
