About Zara
Hello! My name is Zara. I'm Australian, but I was fortunate enough to grow up in both France and Singapore, which gave me a love for languages and different cultures. I enjoy swimming, singing, and getting lost in fantastical novels. Recently, I rediscovered my love for the Harry Potter series by reading it in French, which was a fun way to continue practicing the language.
Having learned French from scratch while living in France, I understand both the challenges and the excitement of learning a new language. I aim to create a supportive, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and building confidence at their own pace. Whether you're just beginning or looking to improve your conversational skills, grammar, or pronunciation, I'll tailor our lessons to suit your goals and learning style. I look forward to helping you enjoy learning French as much as I do!

I aim to offer 45 minutes or 1 hour lessons focusing on coherent French speaking and comprehension through reading and conversing, with an emphasis on grammar throughout.
I moved to France when I was in primary school not knowing a word of French, I empathize with the arduous process of learning a language. I have a B1 DELF Diploma along with a B2 French IB qualification.
As I am familiar with the coursework of primary and secondary school French, I aim to work primarily with school students.
