About Jess
I am a double bass student at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with an extensive knowledge of the UK instrument and music theory grades system. Having obtained an ABRSM Diploma and grade 8 on both music theory and cello I am well acquainted with the pressures and difficulties that come with the preparation needed to achieve these qualifications. As someone studying and working in the music industry in London I have insight and can offer advice in a career in music in this city. I am very passionate about helping others achieve success in the music world.

My teaching method is based on teaching what the student wishes to improve on. I therefore begin teaching by asking the student what they think their strengths and weaknesses are, what they enjoy learning and practicing and why they are taking lessons. I will then tailor the classes to what the student wishes to achieve and help them to improve through positive feedback and constructive criticism.
