About Ava
I am a guitar tutor with 9 years of experience and a Master’s in Guitar Performance. My journey in music began with a strong passion for creativity and expression. Over the years, I have worked with students of different levels, helping them build both technical skills and confidence. My goal is to make guitar learning structured, enjoyable, and meaningful for every learner.
My teaching approach is clear, flexible, and student-focused. I use simple explanations and practical exercises to help students understand each concept. I also adapt my lessons to match each student’s pace and goals, ensuring they feel comfortable and confident. Helping students grow step by step while enjoying music is always my priority.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring different music styles and continuing to improve my own playing. This helps me bring fresh ideas into my lessons. I feel proud when students gain confidence and begin to enjoy their playing. Supporting their progress and helping them build a strong connection with music is something I truly value, and I remain dedicated to guiding them with patience, encouragement, and care.

My guitar lessons focus on helping students build strong fundamentals while enjoying music. I begin with simple skills such as chord shapes, finger placement, and basic strumming patterns. Students learn rhythm and coordination through easy exercises and familiar songs. Each lesson is structured clearly so learners can follow comfortably and build confidence step by step. This makes learning guitar simple and engaging from the start.
As students improve, I introduce more advanced techniques such as chord transitions, scales, and basic solo playing. We work on improving timing, tone, and expression to develop better musical understanding. I guide learners through different styles so they can explore their interests and grow creatively. I support students who need encouragement, structure, or technical depth, helping them progress steadily. Each lesson includes feedback to support consistent improvement.
With regular practice, students begin to play more smoothly and confidently. They develop better control and start expressing themselves through music. My lessons create a supportive and motivating environment where learners feel comfortable and inspired. Over time, students become more independent and confident, enjoying their progress and building a strong connection with the guitar.
