About Rhea
I have 6 years of experience teaching guitar, and I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Guitar Performance. My interest in music began at a young age, and over time, I developed a strong passion for the guitar through regular practice and learning. This passion led me to pursue formal education and eventually share my knowledge with students who are beginning their musical journey.
My teaching style is supportive, flexible, and encouraging. I believe that learning music should feel enjoyable and not stressful, so I create a comfortable environment where students feel confident to practice and improve. I focus on building strong basics while also encouraging creativity and personal expression.
Outside of teaching, I continue practicing and exploring different music styles to improve my own skills. This helps me bring new ideas into my lessons and keep them engaging. Teaching guitar is very rewarding because I get to see students grow in skill and confidence. Supporting their development and helping them enjoy music gives me a strong sense of fulfillment and purpose.

My guitar lessons are designed to help students learn in a simple, clear, and structured way while building strong playing skills. I begin with the basics such as proper posture, finger placement, chord shapes, and rhythm patterns. Each concept is explained step by step so students can understand and practice comfortably. I also include simple songs and exercises that help learners connect technical skills with real music, making lessons enjoyable and practical.
I personalize each lesson based on the student’s level and goals so that progress feels steady and achievable. Beginners focus on basic chords, simple strumming patterns, and easy melodies. Intermediate learners work on improving chord transitions, rhythm accuracy, and playing complete songs smoothly. Advanced students focus on techniques such as fingerstyle playing, improvisation, and expressive performance. I provide clear feedback and guidance to support continuous improvement.
As students continue learning, they gain confidence in their playing and develop a stronger connection with music. They begin to play more smoothly, understand rhythm better, and express themselves creatively through the guitar. Over time, they build discipline, coordination, and performance confidence, which supports their overall growth as musicians. My goal is to help learners enjoy music while becoming skilled and confident guitar players.
