About Max
Hey! I’m Max, a guitarist based in Melbourne, Australia, currently working on my own hard rock project. I’ve been playing for several years and love helping others discover their sound and enjoy music as much as I do. My lessons are relaxed but focused; we work on both hands to build control, timing, and expression. You’ll learn techniques like legato, vibrato, hammer-ons, pull-offs, tapping, alternate picking, and more, while also exploring rhythm, theory, and creativity. I believe learning guitar should be inspiring, personal, and fun. My goal is to help you play with confidence and bring your own ideas to life.

Students learn a wide range of techniques including legato, vibrato, pull-offs, hammer-ons, alternate picking, downpicking, tapping, sweep picking, string skipping, bending, and palm muting. I combine these with music theory, rhythm exercises, and ear training, so every student understands what they play and can express their own style.
Each class lasts around 45–60 minutes and adapts to the student’s goals. My approach blends structured practice with creativity, keeping the learning process engaging and fun.
With over 5 years of experience performing and teaching, my lessons are ideal for beginners and intermediate players of all ages, both in-person in Melbourne or online.
