About Sam
Sam Guseman is an accomplished musician who recently moved to London from the United States, after graduating Cum Laude from the Berklee College of Music. While he was honing his guitar skills at Berklee, he developed a strong understanding in musical theory and composition. He's played in pit orchestras for productions of Pirates of Penzance, Fiddler on the Roof, and Footloose, as well as for his own bands and other artists. He's also an accomplished record producer and engineer (Mom Rock, Mia Asano, Kelsey Blackstone, etc.) and his productions have over-plays on Spotify. Sam hopes to make learning the guitar as fun as possible by balancing between learning new songs that the student wants to learn, and more regimented practice such as scales, chord shapes, etc.

As much as possible, I try my best to structure or deliver the curriculum in a way that connects with the students. Whether it be teaching them their favourite song on their instrument, or using an artist they love as an example of a particular music theory concept, making sure that the students are meaningfully engaged with music is a massive part of my ethos.
