About Astrid
I am a passionate guitar tutor with a master’s degree in music and 6 years of teaching experience. My own journey with the guitar started at a young age, and over time, I have developed a deep love for both playing and teaching this versatile instrument. Sharing that passion with students and helping them achieve their musical goals brings me great fulfillment. Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with students of various ages and skill levels, from absolute beginners to advanced players. I believe that every student has unique strengths and learning styles, so I tailor my lessons to meet their individual needs and aspirations. Whether a student wants to learn their favorite songs, improve technique, or prepare for performances, I provide supportive and personalized guidance. My teaching approach focuses on developing a solid technical foundation, including chord mastery, fingerpicking, and improvisation. I also emphasize musical expression and creativity, encouraging students to explore different styles and find their own voice. Beyond technique, I incorporate music theory and ear training to help students become well-rounded musicians. What I find most rewarding is seeing my students grow in confidence and skill. Watching them overcome challenges and enjoy making music motivates me to continually improve my teaching methods. My goal is to create a positive and inspiring environment where every student feels encouraged to reach their full potential as a guitarist.
