About Laurence
I currently teach over 20 students a week and run a variety of music clubs at local schools with ages ranging from 8 to 20. I have been teaching for over 20 years in a number of capacities (managing music courses, running night courses and Saturday morning groups). I have had students go on pass degrees in music and achieve AMRSM and Rockschool grades.

Hi, I'm Laurence Ruston. I have over 20 years experience teaching guitar, I have a degree in music and am an accredited ABRSM and Rockschool tutor,I have written instructive articles for an online magazine as well as a book on guitar chords. I offer completely bespoke lessons, guided by what music you want to learn and build theory and fretboard application around this basis. Any material covered in the lesson will be emailed to you for your practice and any questions after the lesson can be answered by email. I offer local face to face lessons as well as webcam lessons
