As a guitar tutor, I focus on building a strong foundation in both technique and musical understanding, especially for beginners. With 6+ years of guitar playing experience and over 8 years of music theory knowledge, I aim to demystify the learning process and help students feel confident from the start. My approach is flexible, patient, and centered around the student’s personal goals—whether they want to strum campfire songs, understand scales, or one day perform on stage.
A typical lesson with me includes warm-up exercises to develop finger strength and coordination, followed by guided instruction in core techniques (like chords, picking, and rhythm). I incorporate music theory gradually through fun, applied examples so it never feels abstract. Each lesson ends with a creative application—such as learning a song the student loves or experimenting with writing a short melody or riff.
What sets me apart is that I don’t teach from a one-size-fits-all playbook. I make sure every student chooses their own musical path, and I adjust my teaching to match their pace, style, and interests. Having performed live at various venues myself, I also offer practical insight into stage presence and musical expression for students who may want to perform in the future.
