Jared is a talented and encouraging teacher who will invest in your music education and foster a fun and engaging learning environment. He works with each student to give them what they need as a unique learner instead of just reciting the same lessons for everyone. Jared is great at removing the fear and pressure of learning a new skill and reminding you why you want to learn in the first place! He is thorough without harping on flaws and will work with you to find a method that works for you. I really recommend Jared to anyone who wants to really learn without all the stress and frustration.

Jared Cavazos is a skilled and versatile musician which translates into his teaching. He is well versed with string instruments, especially the bass and guitar. He also has high piano, vocal, and conducting skills and is a great song-writer and producer. He is patient and very motivating in one on one and collaborative settings. He gives students and fellow musicians space to ask questions and to grow. He also makes sure you understand the material thoroughly and not just on a base level, but in a meaningful and productive way. I have always enjoyed working with Jared in all musical settings and I highly recommend his as a teacher and instructor.
