About Jennifer
I am a professional speechwriter with a Princeton B.A. and a Harvard Ph.D. in English literature. I have written speeches that have been given at the White House, before Congress, at the U.N. and at major universities and conferences. I also taught writing, Feminist Theory, 18th century literature, and the history of English at Harvard, and have been tutoring in SAT and ACT prep and academic subjects for several years.

My main approach in SAT/ACT test preparation is to allay test anxiety by teaching the students to recognize the tricks the testing companies use to trip up unsuspecting test-takers. In that area as well as academic subject tutoring and and essay and paper coaching I am friendly, relaxed and non-critical, preferring to work with my students as a team and reduce the pressure in a system that is already far too stress-inducing.
