About James
I am currently a rising sophomore at Harvard University, where I am planning on majoring in applied maths with a minor in economics. I also row there and in the past I have competed at the Junior World Championships representing Great Britain. Over my Gap Year I lived in New Zealand for 4 months during which I tutored and I enjoyed in so much I wish to continue it now.

My typical lesson will involve:
1. Teaching or going over the mathematical concept with the student
2. Giving them practice problems for that concept and letting them try them on their own but being open to any questions or help they might need
3. Going over the problems and making sure they have developed a good understanding of the concept.
I am open to any other approaches or needs your child might need.
Typical Length of a lesson will be an hour but this is dependent on your needs.
Also offer tutoring for U.S. applications and college essays
I have 4 months of experience teaching a 12 year old and 14 year old high school maths
Achieved a 9 for GCSE maths
Achieved an A for A-level maths
Took A-level Further Maths also
My lessons are for GCSE students but happen too tutor maths to any age including young ones
