About Zarret
Awe, I'm Zarret! I graduated from St Stithians Boys' College with a 91% average and I got 94% in maths, 91% in Physics and English and 96% in IT. I was in the IEB top 1% in English, Biology and IT, and I was in the top 5% in all 7 subjects I took.
I was accepted to study engineering at Harvard University in the USA starting in August. I was also accepted to UCT, Wits and UP for my chosen degrees, but I decided not to attend.
I have Springbok colours in rowing, and I represented the country at Junior World Championships in Bulgaria last year. During the season, we would train at least 10 times a week, but the season is now over. Safe to say, when I wasn't grafting the books, I was either in the gym or in a boat cranking out the miles.
I have a firm belief that every person is equal, and that anyone can be anything. Whether you think you're smart or not, I'm positive that you can do whatever you put your mind to, and I would love to help you figure out how to do that. I can't wait to see how far my students will go.

I've always loved helping others learn. From my friends in the boarding house, to complete strangers, I have a knack for teaching. That's why I'd love to help you excel in your school subjects, and to empower you to reach your full potential.
- I teach in English, but I can speak a bit of Afrikaans.
- I'm really relaxed, and I promise we'll only move at a pace you're happy with :)
- Anybody in grade 8-12 is totally welcome, as long as you can speak decent English, otherwise I won't understand you.
- In a lesson with me, you can expect to first go through what problems you're having with your subjects. We will then agree on the best way to fix them, and then we'll make a plan to do it! We can then go through your work and tests together to see what mistakes you're making, and what we can do to improve.
- I'll be happy to answer any questions you have regarding your school work.
- I'd like to be a friend, and not just a teacher.

Having lived with Zarret for 5 years, I have witnessed his ability to understand physics concepts with ease that seem complex to others, and I knew I could rely on him to explain something to me whenever I was stuck on a problem.
