  Eu sou dos Estados Unidos e inglês é minha língua materna. Também falo português e estou aprendendo espanhol (mas estou lutando bastante :D).
  
  I'm from the United States and English is my native language. I also speak Portuguese and I am learning Spanish (but I'm struggling a lot :D).

  Indicaria Paul Theroux. Ele é um autor e amo seus livros. Ele tem uma facilidade com a língua e um dom lindíssimo em comunicar-se e contar histórias e ideias.
  
  I would say Paul Theroux. He is an author and I love his books. He has an incredible ease with the language and has a beautiful gift in expressing himself and telling stories and relating ideas.

• Existe alguma palavra, expressão ou tradição típica que você goste particularmente?

  "What are you doing?" ou como falamos "watchadoing?" Essa frase ilumina uma das maiores dificuldades, mas também a flexibilidade de nossa língua. As línguas mudam e vão continuar a mudar. Porém, essa frase também mostra que com algumas dicas pequenas consegue comunicar-se em qualquer situação, entendendo que inglês é uma língua "preguiçosa."
  
  "What are you doing?" or as we say, "watchadoing?" That phrase illuminates one of the greatest difficulties but also the flexibility of our language. However, that phrase also shows that with a few small tips, you can communicate in any situation, understanding that English is a "lazy" language.

• Por qual motivo aprender esta língua é importante (seja no âmbito escolar, profissional ou pessoal)?

  Por bem ou por mal inglês é a língua mais usada em situações internacionais. Então, qualquer pessoa que deseja comunicar-se em qualquer parte do país precisa aprender.
  
  For good or bad English is the most-used language in international situations. So, anyone who wants to communicate in any part of the country needs to learn it.

• Qual a maior dificuldade no aprendizado desta língua e o como contornar este obstáculo?

  Pronúncia. Óbvio. Todavia, com aulas de inglês com um professor nativo e com uma metodologia focada em pronúncia, vai aprender rápido e com mais facilidade.
  
  Pronunciation. Obviously. However, with English classes from a native professor and with a methodology focused on pronunciation, you will learn quickly and with ease.

• Você poderia compartilhar alguma história e/ou curiosidade engraçada relacionada à sua profissão ou as aulas particulares?

  Eu me lembro de um aluno aqui que não falava português e me mandava uma mensagem perguntando "Porque você está escrevendo em espanhol?"
  
  I remember a student who didn't speak Portuguese and he sent me a message asking, "Why are you writing in Spanish?"

  Já visitei vários países e experimentei culturas diversas. Amo o processo de aprendizagem e amo ficar desconfortável. Experimentar uma nova cultura, uma nova língua, novas pessoas, são bênçãos que nosso mundo jamais pode tirar de nós.
  
  I have visited several countries and experienced diverse cultures. I love the process of learning and being uncomfortable. Experiencing a new culture, a new language, new people are blessings that this world can never take away from us.
