I have an MFA from CalArts (1998) and I have played guitar with some famous jazz artists such as Wadada Leo Smith and the Chicago Art Ensemble. I also did guitar session work at Death Row Records.

About Brian
I have been playing guitar since 1986. I started with classical guitar and found this is a great foundation to then go into flamenco, jazz and funk styles.
I can also teach you how to structure your song ideas with your current guitar skills and even how to write lyrics.

I am going to give you a baseline of strong guitar skills and know how. From there we can go deeper into specific genres of guitar, flamenco, classical, jazz, rock, funk reggae. But at the base level I want you to be able to be able to successfully apply to bigger music schools like MI and Berkeley in Boston.
