About Michaela
I have been a dancer for just over 20 years! I started in ballet and jazz, and slowly learned that I had a very deep love for the dark and mysterious pieces as well as the high energy pieces. I have danced at the University of Iowa as well as Kirkwood Community College, and have taught master classes, camps, and in studios since then.

I love to go over the basics and learn where you are at before we start. Some dancers are more advanced than others, and I would hate to give those with little to no experience hard moves to learn. I always ensure that my dancers are stretched out before learning dance, as your health is my biggest concern!
I teach many different levels, from beginner to advanced, and for all age groups as well.
